For this customer, Foss performed numerous upgrades for the customer, including industrial piping and industrial equipment installation. The project included retrofitting the existing chiller stand with new supports, installation of new supply air piping, and relocation of the Paxton Blower. For the existing chiller, our team retrofitted the existing chiller stand with W-beams, clips and stiffeners. The newly installed air supply piping was all 4″ stainless steel pipe. Foss relocated the Paxton Blower to the rooftop mezzanine and reconnected to the existing underground piping. Additionally, a buffer tank, expansion tank and pot feeder were all installed to upgrade the chilled water system. Our team also installed new pipe supports to ensure maximum stability and flow. Finally numerous fittings and valves were added and connected to allow for easily expanding the system in the future. Lastly, Foss installed customer supplied cooling cabinets, completing the modernization of this facility.
