Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership: Direct and supervise the daily activities of the construction team, including skilled tradespersons and general laborers. Assign tasks based on skill levels and project requirements, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with lead foreman and the project coordinator to plan and execute project tasks according to established schedules and budgets. Monitor work progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to project specifications and building codes. Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and materials.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct tailgate safety meetings and inspections to reinforce safety practices.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment needed for the project. Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment on-site.
