Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager coordinates with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members to oversee all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning through to final completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive project success and client satisfaction.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly to avoid delays and maintain project momentum.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Alignment with Mission, Vision, and Core Values: Understand and support the company’s mission. Contribute to achieving the company’s vision. Uphold and promote the company’s core values.

 

 

 

Physical Responsibilities:

  • The role requires visiting construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and hazardous materials.
  • The position involves physical activities such as walking, standing, and occasionally lifting and carrying materials or equipment.

 

 

 

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: Operations Manager, Executive team
  • Supervises: Project Teams, including subcontractors and internal staff

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

 

  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate diverse construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

 

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

 

  • Experience in creating and managing project budgets.

 

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.

 

  • Proficient in using project management software and tools.

 

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

 

  • Ability to convey information clearly to stakeholders, team members, and clients.

 

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and handle unexpected challenges.

 

  • Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to specifications.

 

  • Ability to resolve conflicts and issues efficiently and professionally.

 

  • Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling techniques.

 

  • Ability to analyze project data and metrics to improve efficiency and performance.

 

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and other industrial construction documents.

 

  •  Capability to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

 

  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

 

  • Ability to monitor and control costs to stay within budget.

 

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technology tools.
